Passed courses DITS "PHP with employment." When choosing courses I pay attention to the prospects for employment. It was a school that guaranteed employment, with the successful completion of courses. Learning was difficult, at least it was not easy for me. And if you decide to take courses, then it would be best to familiarize yourself with Web Programming, it will be advantageous for you. In any case, you will be provided with a huge amount of materials, both theoretical and practical, and during the whole course you will have access to a large resource with webinars and seminars from previous groups. Regarding the teachers, almost all are very cool guys. If possible, go to the teachers who have already taught more than one group; you definitely cannot go wrong with them. Because the knowledge and methods of teaching of the tutor are two important components in the success of your learning. The quality of education is very well monitored at school, and with any complaints everything is solved very quickly and always in favour of the students. I experienced this, for which I am very grateful to Oleg and Nazar. Read full text
Good day. I recently learned the Backend Programmer at the academy, the training is very extensive and fundamental. I am not only pleased with the training but even more so with the internship. I didn’t work on trivial things as juniors usually do, but led the project. The whole backend of the site was mine, and after studying at the academy I easily coped with it. I did not have time to finish my internship as another company took me to my permanent job. So I recommend them - they teach well and their knowledge is relevant, and not as often happens, being taught according to a program that is 2 years old. We were taught, not only basic knowledge but also learning frameworks. After the courses, I can, after sitting for about 3 days (±) in the evenings with G documentation, write on all relevant frameworks. I recommend it to everyone; the good training, pleasant administration, and convenient location of the school and the time of classes. Read full text
Recently graduated from the front-end course with employment. Immediately, I noted that I went with a certain amount of knowledge (practical design skills and theoretical knowledge of JS) and some of the material was for me repetition and consolidation. I accumulated knowledge, to think with the correct logic and solve real practical problems regarding JS. I liked the final part of the course, dedicated to advanced frameworks Angular JS and ReactJS. But self-study is 75% key to success. It is necessary to review all the materials independently, do tests for yourself, take video courses (the teacher will advise sensible ones) - and the material is fixed in the classroom + you can get answers to questions that remain misunderstood. Also, the teacher, while still studying, helped me to write a resume correctly, so I was offered a job in an American company for a Junior Front-end Developer at React / Resux for a couple of weeks before graduation, which I also consider to a large extent was due to the merits of the Academy. Summarising I was satisfied with the training, but I am sure that without initial base and / or considerable effort during training, no result can be achieved - and this is fully justified. I listened to ’by PHP-intensive’ in DITS in early 2016 and will give some advice to those who are going to learn programming - so that newbies do not step on the rake and don’t waste time. DITS is definitely a great IT school, high-level teachers, adequate and modern guys. Sign up and do not even think. Only necessarily know: 1) Learning will have an effect if you have time to do your homework. If you have no time for them, you work from 9 to 18, or some other problems - do not waste time and money. On mastering the material, reading, video, etc., coding - you need a lot of time. And without homework, the courses have no meaning. Or leave work for courses)). 2) if you are going to learn PHP from scratch, and before that you didn’t have an idea about PHP, MySQL, JS - the PHP-intensive course is definitely not for you. If I returned to the beginning of 2016, I would sign up for a long PHP course with job placement. I wish success and prosperity to Oleg Shumar, his projects and all novice programmers! And a special thank you to DITS for the teacher of our group, the highest level programmer, with whom we became friends and saw successful projects on Yii2! :-D P.S. It would probably be great for students if each PHP course to include 1-2 lessons on some framework (there was already such a comment here), or even a detailed analysis of the most popular ones and, besides this, a separate lesson on the intricacies of stringing patterns. I was trained in DITS under the program "Front-end with employment". Training ended in October. On November 1st, I went to work. 2 cool backend-developers in the team are also graduates of the academy. The main argument when choosing an educational institution was the provision of internships. I have warm feelings after training. The Academy takes care of its students (I have something to compare with). Regular newsletters about the news related to the educational process, additional seminars. If for some reason the location changes, the warnings and clarifications are given well in advance. A very important point is the teacher. Here I strongly recommend all potential DITS students in advance before learning to be interested in who will teach in your particular case. Up to the point of asking to meet with the teacher. This is really important. Our group is very lucky in this regard. We have development classes conducted by Maxim Kolesnik. A very conscientious and good person. Training took place on the scrum methodology. He conducted surveys, notified as to what adjustments related to the educational process, made collections of materials. During training, 17 homework assignments were set and 5 modules were written. Max, honour and praise to you. Also many thanks to the English teacher Yuri Homchenko. It was cool. If you are considering this educational institution then feel free to decide. But get ready to plough through a lot of material, a lot of technology, a lot of work. Academy thank you very much. You are cool. Read full text
